Welke boom heeft de X-factor? is een initiatief van de Bomenstichting. Het doel van deze verkiezing is om te achterhalen welke bomen mensen aanspreken. De Bomenstichting is ook benieuwd naar de verhalen van mensen over hun favoriete boom. De bomenverkiezing vestigt ook de aandacht op bomen en roept verwondering op voor bomen.
